I’m so proud to be part of this campaign supporting The Plus One Foundation and all of the people they help. From autism, to Alzheimers, to Parkinson’s, and MS, there are so many people who are living with neurological conditions, and they need our help.
Plus One provides grants for life-changing therapies to people in need, connecting each person with the customized care they need to succeed. I’m joining the Hit The Deck Challenge to celebrate my health, and raise money for people navigating neurological conditions.
I hope you’ll join me on my wellness journey, follow along as I try to meet my fitness goals, and help me raise as much money as I can!
My challenge is Splitting firewood for the winter. I had a truckload of unsplit firewood dropped off. My goal is to split all of it taking about 2 hours every day. I estimate that I have at least 8 cords of wood to split and season. Since it will be a hot summer here on Long Island, NY, I will be hydrating well. Remember, if you stop sweating, it is time to hydrate. Stop if you become dizzy or disorientated.
